Pastor / preaching elder

Pastor Pooyan Mehrshahi has been the main preaching elder and pastor of the church since August 2007. He is a native of Iran.

Outside of his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Mehrshahi serves as:

  • The chairman of Parsa Trust
  • A trustee of the Bible League Trust and Salisbury Reformed Seminary
  • A council member of the Protestant Truth Society
  • The contributor of the notes on Proverbs for the KJV Reformation Heritage Study Bible

Harvey Jeffreys has been a member at Providence Baptist Chapel since 2021 and was called to be an elder in 2024. He is married to Rachel and they have 6 homeschooled children.

Richard Jeffers is married to Carla, and they are blessed with 4 children. He is our lead safeguarding officer.
